Precision Installation

Patterns Plotted, Panels Wet, Edges Wrapped

Our install process starts on a Graphtec FC-9000 plotter with current pattern data for your make and model. Patterns are either bulk-cut and custom-trimmed for wrapped edges, or installed as pre-cut kits where the optical seam is the right call. We choose per panel, not per vehicle.

Every panel is installed wet, with slip solution under the film and tack solution on top, so the installer has time to position, stretch, and seat the film without stress-whitening. Edges are wrapped under the panel wherever the geometry allows, which is how you end up with a finish that reads as invisible from arm's length.

Self-healing

Premium film grades clear minor scratches with heat

Quality paint protection film lasts 7 to 10-plus years, is optically clear and self-healing on premium grades, and is fully removable without paint damage when it eventually needs replacement.

PPF vs Ceramic Coating

PPF and ceramic coating solve different problems - and they work best together.

PPFabsorbs physical impacts: rock chips, door dings, scratches. It's a sacrificial layer that takes the hit so your paint doesn't.

Ceramic coating goes on top of PPF or bare paint to add chemical resistance, UV protection, and hydrophobic properties. Many of our clients do both.

Climate-Controlled Shop

PPF Is Unforgiving. Our Environment Isn't.

A single piece of debris under a panel-sized piece of urethane film means pulling the panel and reinstalling. That's not a cost we pass to our clients. It's a cost we engineer out of the equation by controlling the install environment.

Most PPF shops install out of shared industrial space that sees body repair, tire work, or general automotive traffic. The airborne particulate load in those environments is not compatible with large-panel urethane film. That's why PPF quality varies so wildly shop-to-shop in Canton, and why we made climate and air quality the first design decisions for our facility rather than afterthoughts.

Our Canton shop runs industrial air scrubbers continuously and is outfitted with stainless steel shelving instead of wood, so the ambient air stays as close to a clean room as a detail shop gets. Every panel is tack-wiped and prepped inside the bay, not outside.

The bay is fully air conditioned year-round, so adhesive activation and film flexibility are consistent whether it's a 12-degree January morning or a 90-degree August afternoon. Same repeatable precision, every vehicle.

For dealer inventory and concours-grade work, the acceptance standard is a film install with no visible inclusions under any light angle. Our environment makes that standard the default, not the exception.
