Cancellation policy

24-hour cancellation window

Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of the confirmed appointment may incur a fee of $25 or 10% of the estimated service total, whichever is greater. Cancellations or reschedules made 24 hours or more in advance: no fee.

By providing a payment method at booking, you authorize Burton Auto Detailing to charge that payment method for any applicable cancellation or rescheduling fee disclosed at booking.

First-time customer waiver

Burton may waive the cancellation fee for a first-time customer on a no-fault, one-time courtesy basis, at Burton's sole discretion. This waiver is not automatic and does not apply to subsequent appointments.

No-shows

Failure to appear for a confirmed appointment without prior cancellation or rescheduling is treated as a late cancellation and falls under the same fee schedule above: the greater of $25 or 10% of the estimated service total, charged to the payment method on file.

Note: an earlier version of the Burton Terms and Conditions (at /terms § 3) referenced a $50 no-show fee. This cancellation policy page is the current authoritative schedule. The Terms and Conditions will be updated to match in a future revision.

Burton's commitment to you

This policy is bilateral. Burton commits to the following in return:

  • 7-day appointment lead-time.Burton provides a minimum of 7 days' notice from booking confirmation to the scheduled appointment date whenever practicable.
  • Priority routing on Burton-initiated reschedules. If Burton must reschedule your appointment, your vehicle receives priority placement into the intake queue - ahead of standard new bookings.
  • 5-business-day SLA. On a Burton-initiated reschedule, Burton will offer the next available appointment within 5 business days of the reschedule notice.

How to cancel or reschedule

Contact Burton at booking@burtonautodetailing.com or by phone at (330) 500-2257. Include your name, vehicle, and booking reference in your message. The timestamp of your cancellation or reschedule request - not of Burton's reply - determines whether the 24-hour window applies.

Disputes

You may dispute any charge by contacting Burton at booking@burtonautodetailing.com within 30 days of the charge. Dispute resolution and governing law are detailed in the full Terms and Conditions.

Last reviewed: 2026-05-27. This schedule is effective as of 2026-05-27 and supersedes any prior no-show or cancellation fee schedule in the Burton Terms and Conditions until those Terms are updated.
